Preposition “in” – A1 Grammar
The preposition in is used to describe the place where we live or the country we live in. It answers the question Wo? (“Where?”).
Examples:
- Wo wohnen Sie? — Where do you live?
- Ich wohne in Bonn. — I live in Bonn.
- Wo studiert Ali? — Where does Ali study?
- Ali studiert in Bonn. — Ali studies in Bonn.
- Wo lebt er? — Where does he live?
- Er lebt in Deutschland. — He lives in Germany.
